THE ROLE

DUTIES

  • Represent the organisation in negotiations with employee representatives, unions, and other stakeholders
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with the Business Partners, collaborating with the wider HR team in regards to compliance, policies, procedures
  • Stay updated on changes in industrial relations laws, regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance
  • Lead ER/IR projects and contribute to strategy in line with business needs

THE CANDIDATE

  • Previous experience as a specialist within an Employee Relations/Industrial Relations role
  • Experience working in a similar NFP or within the disability, aged care, childcare or retail industries highly desirable
  • Proven experience in handling complex and technical employee relations and industrial relations matters, as well as working with unions and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs).
  • Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
