Reporting into an experienced HR Business Partner based in Sydney.**About the role:

  • Responsible for all areas of ER related investigations, working closely with People, Legal and Business to achieve positive outcomes for all stakeholders.
  • Support People Business Partners and Business Leaders in effectively managing ER cases across Performance management, Grievances, Misconduct, Investigations, and any employee disputes.
  • Provide advice and guidance regarding legislation and industrial instruments such as modern awards.
  • Coach managers on policy, procedures, and best practices in enhancing capabilities and confidence of leaders in managing ER matters.
  • Partner with People Centres of Excellence and People Business Partners in compliance requirements, audits implementation, monitors progress and responds to audits.
  • Contribute in developing and maintaining the People Policies and Procedures and Employee Handbook.
  • Support the effective implementation of human resources initiatives, policies and procedures, including compliance, employee onboarding and exiting, performance management, employee engagement, training, compensation and employee safety.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree from college or University and 5 years' experience in HR/Employee relations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to create strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven and performance oriented; possess strong work ethic.
  • Ability to effectively and constructively influence others in continuously improving the internal ER capability.
  • Excellent understand of modern award and interpretation.
