We have an opportunity for an Employee Relations Consultant to join the Employee Relations Team.

The team is responsible for ensuring business and strategic initiatives meet employment related legislative and regulatory obligations and customer and community expectations.


You'll be an integral part of a highly collaborative, experienced and knowledgeable team, who love what they do It's an exciting time to join the function and grow your career in a role that's critical to the success of People and Culture's program of work.


Ideally this role will be based in one of our main office locations in Bendigo, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane for the two days per week that you're in the office, noting that hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today.


About you

To be successful in the role, you'll have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Law, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Workplace Health & Safety, or a related discipline is highly desirable, or demonstrated high performance and experience in a similar role.
  • Good understanding of employment legislation, modern awards and enterprise agreements to coach and advise people leaders and staff in relation to policies and operational procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate and recommend sound solution to complex enquiries and show leadership in ability to take ownership for the accuracy of the outcome.
