Position

The position of VIC BDM is now available in the Melbourne office located in the western suburbs. This role primarily involves working within the interstate road freight sector, representing the company's comprehensive service offering. You will work with all vertical markets, creating your own strategies around target industries. You will take complete management of all sales activities in Vic, which includes both account management of existing relationships and new client acquisition strategies.

The role requires a solutions approach rather than simply selling a rate price card. The business prides itself on selling based on service and capability, solving the many transport issues their clients have. Therefore, a consultative, solutions-based approach is essential. On offer is a generous salary package including salary, tools of the trade, and commissions.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

To be considered for this position it is vital that you have the below experience:

  • Proven track record of sales in the Interstate Transport Industry
  • Ability to work engage key stakeholders and clients in a professional manner
  • High presentation, attention to detail, well-spoken and sales hunter mentality
