The role of the
National Program Manager is to lead the Projects team and provide day to day operational support to a team of Project Managers ensuring that projects are scheduled and delivered successfully within Scope, Time, budget and Quality Constraints.

This role will also be responsible for partnering with other stakeholders to drive Business Development activity in the Projects team and will build key relationships with builders, architects, and contractors to ensure a strong sales pipeline of future project opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Business Development activity and build key relationships with builders,architects and contractors to ensure a strong sales pipeline of future project opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of the Strategic Projects and Service Implementation Plan across ANZ.
  • Provide leadership to the day to day operational team in an effort to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget and to customer expectations.
  • Oversee the Project Management Life Cycle and the Projects Implementation
  • Including Design, Project Selection, Initiating, Planning, Execution, Close out and Transition to Service.
  • Provide Managers and customers with updated implementation plans, which may include project schedules, project plans, PPM System report metrics, communications documents, followup memo's etc.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Directors/Managers or Projects Business Development
  • Sales personnel regarding Projects Implementation
  • Correct WH&S hazards and report those which cannot be immediately corrected.
  • Be actively involved in all QA and WH&S programs and activities.
  • Identify and have input into the elimination of QA and WH&S detrimental work practices

Skills and Experience required:

  • Significant experience overseeing and managing Capital Equipment installation Projects including coordinating tradespeople and infrastructure requirements
  • Commercial acumen, experience managing Project P&L
  • Project Management qualification (Agile), PMP Certification desirable, not mandatory
  • Strong Stakeholder engagement and management experience
  • Ability to think independently and have good rational decision making ability, understand site drawings, service drawings and assist with design.
  • Strong negotiation skills, impeccable written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Light physical manipulation required, physically fit to safely carry out the duties of the role without significant risk to self or others.
