Who are CSBP Fertilisers?
Proudly Western Australian, CSBP Fertilisers offer a full-service service model to a customer base of 5,000 growers.

This includes import, manufacture and despatch of a range of products as well as provision of value added services through field trials, data-science driven agricultural technology, and a world-class, commercial soil and plant laboratory.


Our Kwinana-based manufacturing operations and port are supported by storage and despatch facilities in Geraldton, Bunbury, Albany and Esperance, and other depots located across the state.


About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Group Leader to join our safety focused Fertilisers despatch team.


Reporting to the Despatch Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring day to day activities are carried out safely, identify and implement improvement opportunities and efficiencies.

You will also be required to provide leadership to the Frontline Operations team, including contractors.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Prioritise safety for self and others in all practices and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of despatch operators.
  • Ensuring operators understand and consider customer service requirements in order to provide an excellent level of customer service.
  • Facilitate, plan and problem solve to ensure the execution of scheduled work and operational objectives.
  • Support ongoing maintenance requirements and coordinate breakdown maintenance to improve plant reliability and utilisation.
  • Ensure all routine operational work is completed and recorded in accordance with statutory and legislative requirements, codes of practice, and/or other needs.
  • Ensure team members and contractors are adequately trained in CSBP procedures and guides which they are required to follow

Skills and experience you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in Process plant operations, oil and gas, mineral processing, heavy industry or similar.
  • Leadership or management training such as Frontline Management Training (Cert IV Level) is preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of computerbased planning packages and work order systems.
  • Trade certificate, ideally in Mechanical Fitting desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Ability to build and establish positive working relationships.


As part of the recruitment process for this role, you will be required to undertake a numeric, literacy, abstract and mechanical reasoning aptitude test and attend a pre-employment medical which includes a Drug & Alcohol test.
