The Department


Our Audio and Language Content (ALC) team, also known as SBS Audio, helps people from a diverse range of cultures feel at home in Australia.

We inform, educate, and entertain Australians through our in-language radio programs and digital content. People listen to us through traditional analogue radio plus digital radio and through our App. They engage with us through our podcasts on our in-language websites, as well as on social media.

The Role


Join a friendly training team driven by a culture of learning and feedback, where you can develop your project management and administrative competencies, as well as communication and people skills.

The position is full-time (with the possibility of a job share).


If you are a communicator with a strong attention to detail, love working closely with people from different cultures and backgrounds in a dynamic media environment, and if contracts, rosters, spreadsheets and calendars are up your alley '" then this role may be for you.

About you

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to guide and liaise with a wide and diverse training audience
  • Experience in coordinating meetings/events and logistics
  • Advanced administration skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and track record of providing expert customer service to a range of diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in a broadcasting or digital media environment, and background knowledge of content production are highly desirable.
