It is an exciting time for tennis in Australia and we have ambitious plans to continue grow our game from grassroots to Grand Slam. We're looking for a Talent Development Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month maximum term contract.

In this role you will:

Reporting to the Director of Talent you will be responsible for providing operations, administrative and systems support within the Performance Business Unit with a particular focus on talent development training programs.

  • Coordinate registration of players for National Development Squads, Zone Squads, Super 10s, and events (e.g. Masters, Talent Camps).
  • Manage training, competitions and events payment processes and debtors as well as ad hoc tournament/tour based bulk invoicing.
  • Provide administration support (record keeping, minutes) of regular Talent team meetings.
  • Coordinate the marketing and communications for Performance, including the website, press releases, monthly newsletter, player activations.
  • Maintain centralised database relating to players and programs nationally.
  • Coordinate group travel and accommodation bookings as required.

What you will bring to this role:

  • Experience in working in high performance sport.
  • Demonstrated strong administration and organisation skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to relate to players and coaches.
  • Alignment with the Tennis values of Imagination, Humility, Collaboration and Excellence.
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
