Your role


We have an exciting opportunity within our Workplace Transformation Program for the role of Project Officer working in the Workplace Experience unit within the Workplace Transformation branch.

The role is a part of a supportive and collaborative team, driven to support the delivery of program outcomes.

The Workplace Transformation Program is striving to improve the work environment for all staff and this role plays a vital part in achieving this goal.

The team encourages working flexibly. Regular metro travel relating to the role will be required. Some regional travel will be required.

What you'll do
As part of the Workplace Transformation branch, you will report to the Program Manager, Workplace Experience

You are responsible for:

  • Overseeing projects from endtoend including project planning, procurement, vendor and contract management, delivery and transition to BAU
  • Engaging with stakeholders to educate and communicate information regarding office relocations
  • Creating futureproof and best practice processes for the ongoing operation of an A grade building
  • Collaborating and negotiating with various teams to coordinate favourable outcomes for the program
  • A key challenge of this role is meeting deadlines and milestones to the required standards while simultaneously delivering multiple projects

  • Demonstrated ability to consult and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels to build strong collaborative relationships and drive mutual benefits and outcomes.
  • Ability to be flexible and to show initiative and respond quickly when situations change.
  • Proven experience in a Workplace Operations role will be highly regarded.
