About the role:

Reporting to the Head of 1800 RESPECT, this role will oversee the clinical operations and provide clinical leadership for 1800 RESPECT.

Overall, the Clinical Director plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and service user centred care.

This is a maximum term role until 30 June 2027.

Key Accountabilities:

Provide clinical and operational advice and guidance to relevant areas to enable integrated processes and procedures including documentation and rollout to key stakeholders Maintain relevant records and documentation for clinical and operational audit and reference purposes Working closely with and collaborating across the business to ensure a clinically sound service is delivered Accountable for day-to-day operations of the clinical team Review, develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and programs to ensure the delivery of high-quality service Identify areas of improvement and efficiency in the way the team operates to achieve desired outcomes and accountabilities of the service Develop workflows and clinical models for the day-to-day operations of the service that are aligned to the 1800 RESPECT roadmap Accountable for the clinical sign-off of technology implementations, updates and changes as well as operational documents Work closely with the Head of 1800 RESPECT to deliver clinical and contractual requirements Chair of the Clinical Management Committee Act as the Clinical Safety Officer and the clinical face and lead for the service with the department and partners About you: Extensive leadership and operational experience including financial responsibilities Excellent analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions Previous experience in the healthcare industry and telehealth expertise to develop best practice processes for 1800 RESPECTExperience with digital delivery ideally in virtual care and knowledge of the DV sector Experience with incident and quality management policies and procedures Experience implementing Clinical Governance Frameworks At a minimum, the Clinical Director for 1800 RESPECT Service must be a qualified social worker registered with AASW or registered psychologist with AHPRA.
