Are you looking for your next exciting move in your career? We're currently recruiting in the Underwritten Workers Compensation & Distribution (UWWC) team in Personal Injury for a Quality Assurance Specialist.
In this role you will support the delivery of quality assurance processes to meet regulatory and legislative requirements and identify opportunities for process improvements from reviews which consider claims and underwriting management from both a customer and technical perspective.
You'll be responsible for
- Undertaking quality assurance audits across claims and underwriting management.
- Developing a deep understanding of regulatory and compliance issues to mitigate potential negative impacts on the organization.
- Proactively identifying, reporting, and managing risk issues and incidents, escalating when necessary and supporting the business in identifying potential breaches, assisting in reporting, investigation, and remediation requirements.
- Contributing to improvement initiatives for the quality and compliance framework and supporting the implementation of action plans resulting from audit outcomes.
- Assisting the relevant manager in providing feedback on business trends and training gaps, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements while maintaining a highperformance culture with a focus on customer centricity.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in a claims and/or underwriting management environment, understanding key phases of the underwriting or claims lifecycle and providing support on business decisions.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, compliance, and/or risk management within a complex, matrixed general insurance, or financial services organization.
- Strong ability to plan and prioritize effectively, organize tasks, and manage competing demands.
- High attention to detail, completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy, and quickly identifying errors or inconsistencies within information.
- Proven ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, establishing strong professional relationships and influencing outcomes and demonstrated technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, communication, and analytical tools.
