About the Role:

In this position, you will be reporting to the Head of Member Platforms and playing a vital role in a cohesive leadership team responsible for managing the design, development, delivery, and support activities of our member-centric Core Banking Platforms. The key to your success will lie in your capacity to deliver and support a suite of Core Banking platforms that are user-friendly, stable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business goals and member satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert technical leadership and guidance for project and initiative execution
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, delivery leads, and analysts
  • Promoting agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Offering mentorship and fostering knowledge sharing within the team
  • Identifying performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement within member platforms
  • Effectively communicating technical concepts, project updates, and platform enhancements to stakeholders
  • Proactively managing external parties in support of platforms and applications
  • Ensuring continuous compliance by maintaining risk management processes
About You:

To be considered, your work history must demonstrate effective leadership abilities, especially in guiding a high-performing technical team through significant change. You should be passionate about promoting engagement, achieving performance excellence, and fostering collaboration within your team and with internal and external stakeholders.

Your work history should also illustrate:
  • Solid experience in banking, financial services, or consulting
  • Expertise in Core Banking within retail banking
  • Familiarity with credit assessment, loan processing, and payments/cards
  • Experience with agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience in leading geographically dispersed teams, including vendors and change delivery
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
While not mandatory, experience with data migrations to Core Banking platforms and/or with the Fiserv Signature Platform will be viewed favorably.
