People and Culture Generalist - Make 2023 your year to Shine

What are we about?
We are Modus Projects, a national home grown leader in Building and

Construction, Office Fit Out, Special Projects and Facilities Maintenance. With over 320 employees, our head office team is in Cronulla.

In 2023, we are planning a rapid expansion.

As a result we have a multitude of HR projects on the boil and are chasing an experienced and enthusiastic HR dynamite to join our team.


What your day will involve.


As an appreciated and respected People and Culture generalist, working closely with our Head of People, your day will fly as you are involved in the creation and execution of the employee experience and full recruitment lifecycle.


From pitching in with recruitment, creating new contracts, assisting with performance management and appraisals, to handling all onboarding and off boarding tasks, dealing with workers compensation matters and grievances, you will represent our company as the ideal go to person.

Updating records, completing audits, and assisting with the roll out of a new HRIS system. This position will be a mixture of administration and HR consulting.

No job is to small and you are happy to roll up your sleeves and work towards strategic organisational goals, as well as tight deadlines.

Enjoy working closely with our L& D Manager and Manager of Talent Acquisition on various projects.

Do you tick the boxes?


We envisage you have had at least 3-5 years' experience as a generalist and have studied HR at a tertiary level.

Your communication is spot on, your warm and engaging personality has helped you put out many fires. You are empathetic, love to multitask, have great attention to detail and experience using HRIS systems. Most importantly you are looking for that opportunity to shine. Be rewarded and recognised for your efforts.

Although an internal role, the pace is fast and we have loads of exciting ER agenda items. This is an exciting time to become a part of our business.
