Your proficiency in the schemes and payments landscape will ensure we effectively support our customers and their evolving needs. You will grasp the potentials of rapidly expanding scheme models like payment facilitators and marketplaces, and enhance our ability to cater to these alternative merchant models in a commercially advantageous and compliant manner. You will be the point person for scheme statistics and figures - volumes, expenses, transaction breakdown.

You will engage with partners such as Visa, Mastercard, Australian Payments Plus (AP+), UnionPay International, American Express, JCB, Alipay, and WeChat to maximize value for ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions and our clients.
  • Cultivating relationships with schemes, service providers, and internal teams to enhance value for the business and our clients - facilitating new products, understanding costs, and resolving challenges.
  • Analyzing and presenting scheme costs and value to internal stakeholders. You will closely collaborate with the Pricing and Data team, leveraging your deep insight into scheme fee influencers. You will develop a pipeline of initiatives for cost optimization for ANZ Worldline and our clients.
  • Coordinating with product management, operations, and sales teams to bolster support for the schemes and the Worldline organization through product, marketing, and sales endeavors.
  • Contributing to strategic initiatives.

Required skills and experience

  • A strategic thinker and team collaborator with an approachable demeanor and positive mindset.
  • Extensive knowledge of the payments industry, scheme compliance, or prior experience in scheme management.
  • Strong analytical skills to comprehend scheme fee determinants and create forecasting models.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, adept at explaining complex issues to diverse audiences and delivering effective presentations.
  • Proven track record in relationship management, strategic partner oversight, or business development, preferably in the payments or financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with collaborating across countries and continents with multicultural teams.
