About Your Opportunity

Reporting to our Supervisor of Infrastructure, you will provide high level technical expertise in the implementation, maintenance and support of computer networking and security infrastructure, and data communication services within Seqwater (on-premise and in the cloud).

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the development, implementation and review of continuous improvement projects for Seqwater's operational environment.
  • Providing high level expert technical support for networks (on-premise and cloud), security and data communication services.
  • Leading the provision of level three technical support for the network and security infrastructure across Seqwater.

Hours and Locations

This role will be part of team that works on a roster including weekends, public holidays and some on-call work (shift allowances apply).

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in an information technology discipline or associated business discipline or substantial experience commensurate with the duties and accountabilities of the position.
  • Industry certifications, such as Cisco (CCNP Desirable), Load-Balancers (F5/Netscaler), Palo Alto are highly desirable.
  • Extensive exposure to providing network and system support within a complex service orientated environment.
  • Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and how it applies to the management of ICT services.

This position has a salary starting at $113,473 plus 12.75% superannuation and is a permanent opportunity.
