**About the role**

The Works and Field Services Branch are seeking expressions of interests to join our Trades and Facilities Maintenance teams, undertaking scheduled and reactive maintenance, capital projects and ongoing improvements for our facilities across the city.

As the Technical Officer (Electrical) you will be responsible for developing and delivering a program works for a wide range of complex issues.

As part of the team, you will also be required to
- Coordinate and deliver capital works projects for the Works and Field Services Branch
- Develop and manage operational contracts to ensure service delivery
- Demonstrate high quality and standards of work
- Develop and maintain related documentation for standards required for area of responsibility
- Provide specialist trade advice to the department
- Have qualifications in relevant trade fields

- Queensland Electrical Work Licence for Electrical Fitter/ Mechanic.
- Current CPR and Switchboard Rescue Certification.
- Current C Class Driving Licence.

This is a Permanent position, Officers Level 4 - 5 with a salary package commencing at $82,260 plus superannuation of up to 12%.
