_ OBJECTIVES/

PURPOSE:
_


  • In partnership with the business and as directed by the Head of HR Oceania, plan, drive and deliver local HR initiatives, programs and services to multiple functions in assigned geography (Oceania Cluster), in order to support business objectives. The key to success is the ability to balance strategic needs as well as operational.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
_


  • Acts as a HR Business Partner and HR Expert to multiple functions in Oceania Cluster. Uses management information, trend data and other relevant HR metrics to support Business leaders in making sound business decisions.
  • Lead projects that drive culture, talent development, engagement, recognition and capability uplift
  • Employee Lifecycle oversight: Contribute and continuously improve the entire employee journey, from recruitment to growth, employing progressive HR practices that foster engagement and development.
  • Provide coaching and counsel to managers and employees in all areas of HR.
  • Facilitate Talent Management programs & practices supporting leaders in building a strong talent pipeline.
  • Facilitates organizational change, advising on department structures, job descriptions, systems, processes, manpower/succession plans which align to overall corporate objectives.
  • Provide consultation to local management on organizational changes, including team (re) structure, role design and hiring
  • Works with Talent Acquisition & local hiring managers on recruitment, by providing support in preparing & updating job descriptions as required.
  • Facilitate all incountry new hire process, including preparing onboarding & orientation program for local new hires
  • In collaboration with the global Rewards function, educate, influence and advocate reward and recognition philosophy & practice within the business to ensure fairness & consistency
  • Contribute to driving a performance culture by providing support and training in the areas of goal setting, evaluation, providing feedback, coaching and developmental planning.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and enhancement of performance management programs and maintains consistent job title and job descriptions for employees.
  • Escalate issues as appropriate to the Head of HR Oceania to ensure best practice resolution.
  • Work closely with the HR Operations team to ensure timely troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Successfully work as part of the HR model, in full partnership with CoEs, responsible for providing a comprehensive HR service and delivery of local HR strategy;
  • Termination of employment (leavers) including resignations, compromise agreements, redundancy, dismissals
  • Identify development and learning needs for designated business groups and works with Talent & Org Development to implement solutions.

_ EDUCATION,

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree in HRrelated field required. Masters Degree desirable
  • 8+ years of experience as a HR Business Partner professional in a fast paced and high performing environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop, mentor, coach, and provide direction to a team, fostering an inclusive and growthoriented environment.
  • Proven ability to drive key diversity and inclusion, wellness, and ESG initiatives.
  • Lead with a proactive approach, focusing on continuous improvement in all aspects of HR.
  • Be highly selfmotivated and demonstrate resilience and expertise in managing change and building organisational capability
  • Pragmatic, with a deliveryfocused style combined with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire to act as a business enabler and have a proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Good working knowledge of local labour law & practices, and direct experience with employee relations issues
  • Excellent business acumen, business management and the ability to understand business strategy & partner with senior managers
  • Team player; natural collaborator yet able to take a stance on tough/contentious issues.
  • Good negotiation and influence skills. Has the courage to appropriately challenge business leaders.
  • Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues.
  • High levels of integrity.
