The role:


This high paced role will work collaboratively with a broad range of key stakeholders to provide guidance and advice on the project/program financial management practices, including best practice budgeting and forecasting for ICT program and projects, internal and external financial reporting framework.


Other key responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic advice to the senior management on efficient and effective financial management practices including develop and implement best practice budgeting, forecasting, internal and external financial reporting framework
  • Manage and report on project financial management performance against agreed specialised work packages and schedules
  • Ensure use of appropriate project financial management techniques, methodologies, and tools in line with Queensland Health policy and financial management principal
  • Preparing presentations, workshops and feedback sessions on financial management
Are you right for this role?

To be successful in the role, we are seeking someone with demonstrated significant experience in the provision of project financial management support to large scale, complex IM/ICT programs and projects; specifically, in the themes of budgeting, forecasting and reporting.


You will have a proven ability to analyse, plan and manage specialised work packages with a keen eye for detail.
