About the Role:
We are currently seeking a
Commercial & Contracts Lead - Defence to join our team in Canberra, supporting the Commonwealth (CASG) within the ASR Integrated Work Package.
Bring your expertise in Defence FMS and Direct Commercial Sales Contracting, ideally with prior CASG experience, to drive impactful outcomes in national Defence and security.
What you will be involved in:
- Developing and issuing approaches to the market (including RFTs and RFQs)
- Participating in commercial negotiations between Defence and third parties
- Providing advice to functional areas on commercial aspects of the Projects and their associated delivery
- Deliver contract management and administration activities for commercial arrangements and agreements
- Engagement with key stakeholders in the delivery of activities Conducting contracting governance and reporting activities
What we would like from you:
- Relevant qualification and associated domain knowledge
- Commercial management experience, working above the line with Defence
- Previous experience working in CASG
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills Australian Citizenship with a current or recently suspended Defence security clearance
