In this role, you will actively engage with the leadership team, customers, and suppliers to ensure that activities are executed in accordance with contracted requirements. You will demonstrate expert knowledge on policies and procedures, exercising a high level of business acumen to ensure effective program performance. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing management plans, drafting and reviewing commercial correspondence, providing commercial advice, and drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. You will also contribute to bid and proposal activities, provide interpretation and advice on customer procurement policy and regulations, and serve as a point of contact for customer and supplier interfaces. The successful candidate will have a degree in Business, Commerce, or Law, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role. They will have demonstrated experience in commercial negotiations, program operations, and financial management, including Earned Value Management. The candidate will be a self-motivated team player who can work independently with limited oversight. They will have the ability to draw on prior experience to investigate, analyze, and solve difficult to moderately complex problems. The successful candidate must be an Australian citizen and/or be able to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
