CPL - Choice, Passion, Life is a non-profit organisation that provides vital support and services to more than 8,000 children and adults with disabilities in Queensland and Northern NSW.


As a Household Facilitator based at our Brisbane South West site, you will provide high quality in home and community access support with activities and services to people with disabilities living in 24-hour Supported Independent Living arrangements.


Your Role:

  • Assist clients to manage their household
  • Menu planning, shopping, shift/staff duties list, household repairs and maintenance and billpaying
  • Support to access medical and similar appointments
  • Banking, grocery shopping and/or recreational activities
  • Provide the direct support team with quality supervision and mentoring
  • Assist with recruitment, training and performance management
  • Maintain systems of recording and reporting
  • Monitor all daytoday activities of the household
  • Provide timely information and reports as required

What You Bring:

  • Previous handson experience within the disability sector as a Support Worker is a must
  • Previous experience in management/teamlead positions is highly desirable
  • The ability to use various mobility aids, administer medications, provide personal care and individualised support to our clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Hold a valid Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check and FACPR
  • Full COVID19 Vaccinations (2 doses)
