About the team
Fleet Maintenance delivers safe, reliable and commercially competitive fleet maintenance services for Sydney Trains and NSW Trains customers.

We focus on continuous improvement in fleet reliability and cleanliness as well as operational readiness for the demands of the future.


The opportunity


We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Business Systems and Compliance Coordinator to join our Fleet Maintenance team based at Eveleigh.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with flexibility between maintenance centres and office locations.

You will be working within a highly collaborative team interfacing with a range of internal and external stakeholders across different parts of the business.

Reporting to the Divisional Manager Business Systems and Compliance, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining business systems and processes across the Fleet Maintenance function to deliver up to date and accurate maintenance process information to our teams.
  • Leading continuous improvement through identification and delivery of business process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and provide analysis and reporting on compliance with safety, quality, environmental and risk management requirements.
  • Maintain relevant risk registers for the maintenance team, and ensure the critical risk controls are monitored and audited for effectiveness.
  • Conduct audits, incident investigations and workplace inspections across Fleet Maintenance functions
  • Monitoring, reporting and facilitating the progress of open actions within the enterprise action management systems.

About you

  • You will be a highly selfmotivated individual with the ability to be autonomous and proactive
  • You will have demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with customers, peers and other support functions with the ability to influence and gain support in achieving objectives
  • Experience in developing and maintaining operational management systems, preferably for large and complex organisations, Including monitoring and reporting on compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting audits, investigations and safety inspections, and managing actions

Salary and benefits
The salary for this position is RC6 ($127, $141, per annum plus shift overtime, superannuation and leave loading.
