Step into the epitome of luxury at The Darling Hotel, Sydney's first and only luxury hotel with the coveted Forbes five-star rating. As a Front Desk Agent, you'll play a vital role in delivering impeccable service, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, assisting with guest needs, and handling payments with precision. Your diplomatic approach will shine as you address guest inquiries and concerns.

Join us at The Star Grand and bring your previous guest service expertise to the forefront of our exceptional hospitality team. If you're fuelled by a passion for crafting memorable experiences and aspire to build a rewarding career in the industry, look no further.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Support our Concierge to drive & lead our Porte-Cochere
  • Coordinating daily operations and delegating tasks including the arrival and departure of guests
  • Supervising a team of bellman and managing their performance
  • Demonstrate to guests & team members a dedication to service excellence
  • Creating outstanding service experiences that result in lasting memories

What are we looking for?

  • Extensive guest service experience in Hotel or Guest Services environment
  • Previous experience in a 5-star establishment advantageous
  • Knowledge of hotel check-in systems (Opera highly regarded)
  • The ability to speak a second language (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Sound knowledge of the local area and surrounds
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
