About the role


Based at our West Footscray site, this is a vital and engaging role which will see you preparing, facilitating, monitoring, evaluating, and documenting new and refresher training activities.

This role has a continuous improvement focus on ensuring that employees are competent in all aspects of their roles.

Duties will include:

  • Organise and coordinate certificate training for all operations employees that drives an uplift in role competency.
  • Be the site owner and expert in operational training systems, processes and documentation.
  • Work with Learning and Organisational Development team to ensure effective and efficient use of PeopleHub learning, including item creation, completion and recording of all executed learning / training.
  • Partner with GrainCorp Learning team in the design, development and maintenance of inhouse training as it relates to Processing Operations standards and needs.
  • Conduct induction, training, and verification of competency programs.

About your experience

  • Relevant tertiary education eg Cert IV Training and Assessment or, B.Ed in Adult education or similar.
  • Knowledge of adult instructional and learning theory and principles
  • Knowledge of instructional design
  • Knowledge of training methodologies and needs analysis
  • Knowledge of learning management systems
  • Knowledge of competency assessment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Flexible working hours
  • Able to identify, analyse and solve problems
  • Willing to accept accountability
  • Manufacturing plant training experience (desirable)
