You will apply your expertise in providing strategic guidance, contributing to the design and execution of programs, projects, and initiatives; and engaging with stakeholders to further the goals of Multicultural Affairs.

  • This role focuses on advocating for and enhancing workforce outcomes for migrants and refugees. Occasional travel to regional Queensland may be necessary. Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Settlement Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering strategic analysis and advice on intricate multicultural policy, program, and community relations issues related to multicultural affairs.
  • Building relationships and collaborating with state government agencies, other levels of government, non-government organizations, and community stakeholders to address emerging issues and trends.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant issues to develop well-researched briefings, reports, and initiatives.
  • Planning and executing strategic initiatives to support the Government's commitment to multiculturalism.
  • Promoting a positive team environment by assisting colleagues and sharing information.
