Responsibilities of a Printer Field Engineer at HP:
- Utilize technical expertise to operate and repair advanced printing equipment.
- Upgrade outdated printing equipment with the latest generation models.
- Combine technical knowledge with business acumen to develop customer solutions.
- Independently resolve most technical issues within your area of expertise, collaborating with team members for more complex incidents.
- Identify and escalate potential issues to management preemptively.
- Proactively and reactively offer solutions to prevent problems within your scope of responsibility.
- Implement HP solutions to address moderately complex customer requirements within your technical domain.
- Represent HP in face-to-face customer visits, industry conferences, vendor meetings, etc.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Pursuit team.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree or an associate degree in Electrical, Electronic repair, or Mechanical repair plus 2-4 years of related work experience.
- Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally when necessary.
- Expected to engage in local and interstate travel.
- Need to have a current driver's license and personal transportation.
