Accountabilities include:
- Lead the formation, negotiation, management and review of Customer Solutions team's complex and high value commercial, strategic, leveraged, ICT and routine contracts. Lead the development, implementation and refinement of an operational framework for the service contracts in the team's portfolio, ensuring contract administration, standards, guidelines and procedures are compliant with current contracting standards for the department and consistently applied across all contracts. Ensure that Customer Solutions complex commercial agreements align with TransLink's strategic objectives. Initiate, build and maintain effective partnerships with internal stakeholders, service providers and different levels of government to ensure that TransLink's needs and the needs of the travelling public are appropriately reflected in contracts relating to Customer Solutions. Using contract frameworks, including contract management plans, you will monitor and measure the performance of contracted services to ensure value for money based on the output of this data and the opportunities presented by contract negotiations. Manage commercial negotiations and supplier performance in accordance with contractual arrangements in terms of service level agreements and KPI's and resolve any identified performance gaps. Investigate and provide advice on complaints, queries and lead front-line dispute resolution strategies to deliver commercial outcomes. Provide expert advice to the Customer Solutions management team on the management of the portfolio of Customer Solutions contracts. Leadership and people management including the management of recruitment, performance, development, team communication, and ensuring a safe and diverse work environment
- Management functions including business planning, financial management, governance and other responsibilities as legislated in the Public Service Act 2008 to ensure delivery of a responsive, effective and efficient services to the community and the Government
- Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed. This role reports to the Director, Customer Engagement Operations and Contracts and has 2 direct reports.
