About the team

Working as part of our wider Risk Advisory Services (RAS) teamin Brisbane, the Contract Performance Audit & Assurance teamprovide risk assessments related to contract and third-partyassurance solutions such as auditing and managing financial andcommercial contract performance and risk.

About the role

In this client facing role you'll provide assuranceservices to our key clients through independent review of projectestimates and contractual arrangements prior to contractexecution.

You'll be responsible for planning, developing anddelivering major assurance and advisory engagements which includecontract performance audit, compliance audit and related contractadvisory assignments.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist in building and mentoring a team of highly skilledcontract performance audit, internal audit and risk advisorystaff
  • Manage a portfolio of clients across a range of industrysectors, with a focus on risk, controls and assurance
  • Supervise and undertake fieldwork including scoping anddelivering of risk advisory engagements
  • Prepare written reports and deliverables of a high qualityand standard, adhering to budgets and timelines
  • Internal and external stakeholder management to deliverbespoke solutions
  • Drive the continuous improvement of current practiceprocesses, tools and methodologies
  • Collaborate with senior management on continuous growthinitiatives and business development of the practice

What you'll need to succeed

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similarrole gained within the professional services industry. Yournatural ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels andanalytical skills will ensure your success in this role.

You will also need:

  • Accounting, legal or business related tertiaryqualification
  • Experience with developing and reviewing internal auditscopes and statements of work
  • Solid experience in process mapping, risk and controlidentification
  • Experience in presenting to Senior Management, Boards andARCs
  • Exposure to latest betterpractices/methodologies/frameworks in regard to riskmanagement, project management, records management,procurement/contract management, governance, legislativecompliance etc.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Australian driver's licence and vehicle access (astravel outside of Brisbane Metro may be required)
