Manager Right to Information and Privacy

Develop, maintain and manage robust systems, policies and procedures relating to the operations of the RTI Act and the IP Act that are consistent with best practice across the Queensland public service and support the department's compliance with the legislative framework, including to support accurate and informative reporting.
Provide complex, accurate and timely advice to the Director-General, departmental officers, select portfolio agencies and the Office of the Premier on RTI and IP matters.
Lead, develop and coach delegated RTI and IP decision makers, ensuring capacity and capability to deliver expert advice and sound RTI and IP decision making within the department.
Participate and liaise with the Department of Justice and Attorney-General and other Departmental Right to Information and Information Privacy units across the public sector in the development and monitoring of Right to Information and Information Privacy standards and practices.
