What you'll be doing


The Project Officer, Patient Reported Measures will support the development and implementation of the NSW Patient Reported Measures program to improve the patient, staff and consumer experience within the local health district.


The position will collaborate with the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation and various key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the IT PRM solution, and the integration of PRMs across the health setting on an ongoing basis.


Will work collaboratively with Stakeholders, Consumers, Clinicians, Primary Health Networks and Primary Health Care staff, by way of full project management activities including project planning, stakeholder negotiation and milestone reporting.


Selection Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated relevant industry experience.
  • Extensive experience in working with patients and carers to capture their experience/outcomes and improve their care.
  • Extensive experience in leading and implementing projects and/or initiatives and changemanagement with demonstrated successful approaches to implementing large scale, complex programs.
  • Highly developed analytical skills and demonstrated ability to interpret and package complex information rapidly and accurately using verbal and written communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills including the ability to resolve conflicts, competing demands and prioritising resources.
  • Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.

OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.

All NSW Health workers are required to have received at least three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful.
