**About the Agency**
The NSW Reconstruction Authority (the Authority) is a statutory corporation within the Planning & Environment cluster. The Authority is dedicated to facilitating disaster prevention, preparedness, recovery, reconstruction, and adaption to the effects of natural disasters in NSW. The Authority’s role is to ensure NSW is best placed to face future natural disasters before they occur and recover quickly when they do.

**About the role**

The Assistant Coordination Officer role is the heart of our team With your all-rounder skillset, you will undertake a range of project research, analysis, reporting, implementation and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of local and regional resilience projects, in line with established project plans and objectives.

**About you**

With your diverse skills and experience, you will have a strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, work under strict deadlines and of course be a true team player. You will possess strong communication skills that support delivery of key projects and programs both internally and externally. You are outcome focused and gain satisfaction upon completion of milestones and deliverables. In addition to this, you will also meet the following essential requirements:

- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- An ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies and other events, consistent with skills, background and personal circumstances.
- Current unrestricted NSW drivers’ licence
- Full vaccinations for COVID-19, except where a medical contraindication certificate is provided
