Temporary (12 month) full-time opportunity, based in Queanbeyan (other locations in the South East by negotiation):


  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $78,999
  • $88,087 + super


We are currently looking to recruit someone for a program support role that entails delivering high quality contract management and business support services to the work group in a fast-paced, outcome focussed environment.

In addition, you will have the chance to provide essential administrative support to the Regional Manager and the rest of the South East Team.

About You


We are looking for someone with exceptional administrative and customer service skills who can support project coordination and business operations.

This role is perfect for someone with experience as a contract administrator, paralegal, or executive support, who possess expertise in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word and Excel.


Key responsibilities

  • Implement systems that optimise efficiency, and effectively manage and maintain accurate program information including data entry, records management and reporting. Ensure information is stored in accordance with Open Government principles.
  • Provide professional and timely logístical support to meetings, committees, working parties, workshops, information sessions and forums including inviting participants, arranging venues and audiovisual equipment, travel arrangements, collation of materials for presentation, circulation of agendas and minutes, and the taking of minutes during meetings.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with key internal stakeholders and program customers to facilitate communication and information sharing and to direct enquiries

Participation in the NSW Biodiversity Offsets Scheme (BOS) and the BCT's private land conservation (PLC) programs


All new employees with an existing defined interest in the BOS will be required to disclose their personal (or a close family member's) participation to ensure potential conflicts are managed appropriately.

In some circumstances this may require divestment of the interest.

The BCT also has restrictions on staff participation in its funded PLC programs.

No additional funding, beyond that already agreed to by the BCT, may be sought or approved during time as a BCT employee or for a 12-month period following termination of employment.
