THE ROLE


We are seeking an SDR to identify and book 1st meetings with potential Channel Sales Partners, Resellers, Publishers, & Distributors to grow our key customer and partner relationships around the globe.

In addition, this role will be responsible for identifying potential partnerships and opportunities around the globe.


This SDR will work with our Channel Sales Manager in APAC and North America and the Mid East to help to identify and book initial meetings with school groups, vendors, and a range of other public and private organizations.


Given the scale-up nature of the company, you will need to be flexible and inventive in your approach to this role.

We bias heavily toward action over inaction and are looking for people with a can-do attitude.


You will report to the Director of Global Partnerships and work closely with the Matific executive and other senior members of Matific.

This role is based out of our head office in Sydney CBD. There will be a requirement for travel to the office

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, assess, target, and create new opportunities
  • Book initial appointments for multiple Channel Sales Managers across the organization
  • Deliver quarterly and annual targets
  • Develop a range of channel opportunities
  • Contribute to Matific in regard to best practices and sales enablement
  • Develop and execute the strategic plan in conjunction with the senior executive team

Requirements:

  • Intelligent and driven individual
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analysis and presentation skills
  • Strong problemsolving skills coupled to a growth mindset
  • 2+ years of similar experience (attitude and capabilities are valued over experience)
  • Experience in the education sector is beneficial but not required
