About You

  • You have demonstrated experience in process analysis and current operating models using recognised process improvement methodologies to identify opportunities to drive efficiency.
  • You have exceptional engagement, collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • You have a proven track record of developing and implementing plans to achieve business goals and objectives with clear and tangible metrics.

What you'll be doing


The Healthcare Improvement Specialist works collaboratively with teams and department leaders throughout the District to demonstrate our values and achieve District's improvement aspiration to become an improvement leader, locally, nationally and internationally; an organisation with a strong track record of operational excellence, engagement and innovation in improvement through the implementation of process improvement initiatives and programs.


The Specialist acts as an organisational process improvement champion who leads departmental and cross-functional teams through all aspects of the continuous improvement effort using Lean Six Sigma, Improvement Science, Clinical Redesign and other effective strategies and methodologies.

The Specialist facilitates the identification, understanding and improvement of process issues by using appropriate quantitative and qualitative tools. The Specialist will assist with the development and delivery of process improvement training and education to the organisation.

As an agent of change, the specialist will serve as a catalyst to create a culture that continuously strives for operational excellence and embraces the principles of process improvement.
