To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a
Wells Console Operator to join our team on a twelve-month contract.


The Role

Reporting to Control Room Lead, the purpose of this position is to operate safely and efficiently CSG Wells in the Surat Basin from the Brisbane-based Central Control Room.


This is a Brisbane based contract position and may require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.


In addition you will:

  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
  • Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
  • Perform remote monitoring, operation and optimisation of CSG wells.
  • Perform well state changes including start up, shutdown, commissioning, decommissioning, testing and troubleshooting of new and work over wells.
  • Provide detailed wells support to the other Control Room Operators, Surveillance and Field Operators.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of control room operating procedures and systems are maintained.

About You

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety.


To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Process Plant Operation
  • Proven experience in the operation of a complex continuous process plant and process control of well field assets.
  • Knowledge of situational awareness, alarm management and operations monitoring of process control systems.
  • Understanding of process plant documentation, operating philosophies and procedures, cause and effect matrices and process safety.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and process equipment operations, performance and thermodynamics.
