Alstom Performance system Leader (
Continuous Improvement Lead) in Perth, WA This is a fantastic opportunity for you to take your career to the next level with development opportunities and exposure across multiple project rollouts

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Site Director on strategic transformation, using site SQCD objectives and Alstom Performance system(Continuous improvement) roadmap.
  • Support each department in Alstom Performance system deployment by providing onfield expertise on lean & continuous improvement tools.
  • Consolidate and report deployment status on a monthly basis to Depot Managers and Alstom Performance system(Continuous improvement) team/ ANZ Quality.
  • Assist the Operations by reviewing task sequencing, reducing nonadded value tasks, developing methods and tools to improve results.
  • Support 5S and visual management set up at depot(s) level.
  • Map local processes flow chart and identify room for improvement, muda to be addressed.
  • Support Quality Teams in Problem Solving approach with proper implementation and tailoring of problem solving methods (QRQC, 8D..)

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
  • Proven experience in leading continuous improvement projects
  • Ability to coach the project team and site management
  • Use of lean principles (5S, Standard, Gemba, VSM, problem solving, performance and kaizen mindset)
  • Ability to develop a network across all sites.


This role is initially a 12 month fixed-task contract with great potential to be extended or move into a permanent role.
