Suncorp Group are looking for a Claims Support Officer to join their Claims Operations team to provide support to the Personal Injury Claims team through the execution of business support and customer service functions.


This role is a 6-month contract role based in Brisbane.

What you'll do

  • Investigate, gather and followup additional information to complete the lodgement for Claims
  • Validate claim details for lodgement, and refer to business partners
  • Undertake review and audit tasks as directed
  • Manage complex escalations from business partners
  • Prepare, proof and despatch outbound correspondence in support of claim lodgement and management
  • Manage the request, receipt and dispatch of claim information
  • Schedule independent medical examination and other medical appointments and prepare and dispatch required documentation
  • Outbound phone calls to internal and external stakeholders

What you'll bring

  • Certificate or qualification in Administration, Business, Accounting or Finance would be well regarded
  • Attention to detail accurately checking and processing tasks and showing concern for all aspects of the role
  • Communication skills ability to convey and explain information, coherently and confidently both oral and written
  • Customer Service committed to increasing customer experience and delivering high quality solutions within required timeframes
  • Ability to provide client support and service to resolve issues via phone calls
  • Problem solving skills
