About the RoleLocated in our Brisbane office we are seeking a seasoned Project Procurement Lead to spearhead our PNG projects.

The primary objective of this pivotal role is to provide strategic procurement expertise, with a focus on prioritisation and enabling of business objectives.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimising risk and maximising value to bolster the company's competitive advantage.


Key accountabilities include:
Act as the procurement focal point for PNG Projects throughout the Opportunity Development Process project lifecycle.
Understand project development phases and provide contracts and procurement expertise and advice in support of project decision gate process.
Enables best-in-class project procurement support through early identification and prioritisation of demand.
Develop contracting and procurement deliverables for the project delivery process and assurance requirements.
Deliver strategic procurement pre-award and post-award activities to support assets as required.
Perform and manage transactions within Contract Management and ERP systems as required.
Ensure compliance with applicable Joint Venture and SMS requirements.
About You

You are a dynamic professional, an expert in capital projects and excel in analytical thinking and communication. You can navigate complex landscapes while fostering meaningful relationships and have the ability to influence and drive outcomes.

Professional Experience:
Previous experience on major energy projects or similar industries.
Project procurement experience on major construction and installation contracts.

Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification in law, engineering, business, supply chain management or other relevant discipline desirable.
