The Opportunity
DB Schenker is seeking a driven Team Leader (afternoon shift) to join our Contract Logistics team at Redbank.

In this role, you will oversee a team of logistics professionals to effectively provide complex logistics services to our customers.


You Will Take On:

  • Generate daily reports to management Manage the reporting of all receipts and dispatches for nominated Logistics accounts.
  • Construct and distribute daily reports as required.
  • Immediately report unresolved variances to the customer and RP.
  • Ensure WMS administration is in compliance with the WMS manual.
  • Liaise with Customer Service groups to handle delivery enquiries on all escalated matters.
  • Correspond with and provide information to relevant Client and Schenker staff on all orders.
  • Maintain the set reporting requirements for relevant Clients.
  • Liaise with internal and external carrier customers
  • Maintain the production of documentation and ensure it is allocated in the system, and the paperwork accurately reflects the correct status.

Competencies and Skills required:

  • Previous experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Warehouse environment


 Leadership Skills
  • Ability to manage people ideally within Warehousing/Logistics
  • Target and Results Focused ability to ensure daily KPI's are met
  • Proven Continuous Improvement and problemsolving skills
  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System and RF scanners
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
  • 23 years experience in a similar role
