The Role


Our Sydney Office is currently seeking a resourceful, proactive and tenacious Partner with high levels of energy to be part of an exciting build towards Blenheim Partners becoming the number one executive search firm in Australia.


As a result of our consistent growth and ongoing investment in the broader Financial Services sector, we are seeking to appoint a search Partner to develop our engagement across Banking, Diversified Financials, Consumer Finance, Capital Markets, and Insurance.

This individual will be or have been in senior business development (B2B) or client-facing consultancy roles. The role would suit self-starters capable of business development, building sustainable revenue pipelines, and engaging with heads of industry.

Partners represent the firm with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

Skills and Qualities

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience gained from a career in the Financial Services/Advisory sector, with a deep understanding of the machinations of senior decisionmaking and the appropriate partnership approach;
  • A track record of business development and origination in the Financial Services sector;
  • High intellect, strategic and commercial acumen, and the ability to engage, present and partner with the toplevel decisionmakers in the above sector;
  • The advocacy and communication skills to play a key stakeholder/industry representative role in the above sector;
  • Commitment to excellence and a strong belief in team values and esprit de corps; and
  • A highcalibre executive that recognises that building a career in executive search is about building senior client relationships and becoming a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities

  • Plays a representative role as a trusted advisor and partner within the banking and financial services sector;
  • Develops and originates new client accounts;
  • Develops deep knowledge of clients' businesses including the leadership, and then translates these relationships into business development opportunities;
  • Manages client deliverables and expectations, including drafting client proposals and overseeing the endtoend execution of the engagement deliverables; and,
  • Acts as an advisor to key clients over the long term, able to offer strategic advice on Executive composition, the evaluation of individuals and teams and succession planning; and,
  • Contributes actively to initiatives to improve the firm's service offering.


Blenheim Partners consult and guide boards and executive leadership through their most critical people choices helping them build an organisation with high performing teams and long-term succession plans that position them to create change, prepare for growth and outperform their respective markets.

The role is full time in the office in Sydney and does require the individual to reside in Sydney.
