As part of an international and fast-growing community, we are currently recruiting for Managers and Associate Managers within our Financial Services Risk and Regulatory team in Sydney, Australia.

As part of the team, you will be part of an entrepreneurial team to combine your passion and experience with the Sia Partners global assets and expertise.


You will be comfortable working with teams in diverse and dynamic environment, solving some of our clients' most challenging problems.


Responsibilities
Consulting

  • Lead and deliver projects, including project and team management. Provides support to clients on complex issues or in difficult situations; leads strategic meetings, and shares knowledge and knowhow
  • Conduct regulatory compliance review, internal control review, policies and procedures, risk and compliance advisory and other independent assessments as per the regulatory requirements
  • Be hands on and contribute to the successful execution of client projects.
  • Lead project estimating, maintaining project metrics, and commercial management
  • Time management, problem solving, use of tools and methodologies, explanation of ideas, meeting management, team collaboration, and proficient handling of client relationships
Business Expertise

  • Work closely with our other offices and leverage our global network to take part in crossselling initiatives and widely share our knowledge
  • Play a key role in the development of new strategic solutions (squads), and contributes valuable insights and perspectives to enhance the efficacy of the organization's strategic decisionmaking process
Business Development

  • Use market presence and personal network within the Australia Market to support business development and expand trusted relationships
  • Identify opportunities for new business and lead bid teams to deliver innovative proposals
People Management

  • Provide career management to team members, including establishing goals, coaching and evaluation to establish a highperformance team
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Delivery

  • Deliver on a range of client assignments, usually as part of an onsite project team (some travel may be required)
  • Manage portfolio of work from small to large projects, developing and maintaining trusted relationships with key client stakeholders
Leadership

  • Assist in developing thought leadership and building solutions and methods
  • Develop exceptional trusted advisor relationships with our clients
  • Contribute to the development of highquality technical offerings
  • Build on the Sia Partners culture of Excellence, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Teamwork, Care & Support and Wellbeing within the practice and our people
  • Lead internal corporate initiatives
  • Manage team of resources to deliver highquality work products

Specific areas of expertise:

Desirable experience in one or many of the following:

  • Non-Financial Risk
  • Technology risk, operational risk, enterprise risk and /or third party risk management
  • Operational Resilience / Business Continuity Planning
  • Financial Crime / Fraud Risk
  • Client onboarding / KYC / Due Diligence
  • Compliance
  • Data Privacy / Data Protection
  • Climate Risk and Stress Testing
  • ESG and Sustainability
  • AI and Data Analytic usage within Risk and Compliance
  • Familiar with APRA and/or AML/CTF regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, Law Master's degree welcome
  • At least 6+ years of clientfacing management consulting and financial services experience with an emphasis on risk projects
  • Holder of professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, FRM, CAMS, CISA, CISSP, CIA and/or other related qualification is an advantage.
