The Project Support Officer (Recruitment) SQCP-S2 provides administrative coordination, and the effective and efficient delivery of the recruitment component of the SQCP-S2 project outputs for the commissioning of the Lockyer Valley Correctional Centre.
- Provide administrative support to the recruitment and selection process, including liaising with candidates and external contractors, to progress the recruitment and employment of candidates.
- Use information management systems including administration, human resource, and financial management systems, to process, monitor and review information and produce reports.
- Manage SQCP-S2 recruitment information (document) management systems, templates, version control and electronic libraries ensuring integrity of documents and process.
- Monitor timeframes to ensure all necessary action/follow-up and responses are completed in a timely manner.
- Exercise judgment and resourcefulness to resolve immediate problems and manage anticipated issues.
- Provide a range of financial administrative activities including data entry, maintenance of registers, computing and clerical support in accordance with legislative, policy and procedural requirements.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities and where required undertake any other project management related duties as assigned by the Project Director or Project Manager.
- Use your high proficiency in MS365 Microsoft office suite (comprising Word, Excel and PowerPoint, along with demonstrated advanced skills in diary and email management using MS Outlook) to provide high level administrative and project support to the SQCP-S2 recruitment stream of the Strategic People and Communications Project Delivery team.
- Be accountable for upholding the principles and practices of Queensland Corrective Services in accordance with legislation, policies, and standards.
- Contribute by way of example to developing a workplace environment that values positive performance, continuous improvement, and innovation in the delivery of high-quality services.
