About the School:


Victoria Point State School is situated in the South East Education region, 38 km south-east of Brisbane on the beautiful shores of Moreton Bay.

Our school was opened in 1916, with our oldest classroom block being built in 1923. Our students come from a large area including local suburbs and islands.
About the Role
Provide a high level of customer service through general front office duties:

  • Student, parent and staff enquiries and support
  • Receipting payments
  • End of day banking
  • Mail
  • Ordering stationery and cleaning consumables
  • Other administrative duties as required

About You
The successful applicant will display the following qualities and skills:

  • High level of communication skills, exhibiting professionalism, confidentiality and tact, with the ability to work with all members of the school community both autonomously and as a member of our team
  • Efficient multitasking and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing all tasks
  • Experience with OneSchool and Agresso will be highly regarded
  • Ability to interpret and implement departmental policies and procedures to maintain audit compliance

A mandatory requirement of this role is:

  • In accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 a person is prohibited from working in regulated child-related employment unless the person holds a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
