Are you excited about the opportunity to join a professional sales team that collaborates with other departments to exceed customer expectations in the industry division? We have an enticing position available in Grundfos Sydney (Newington). This is your chance to become an Account Manager with us.

What does the role involve?

Responsible for providing technical support to customers in the Industrial Solutions sale channel, ensuring the proper application of Grundfos products and effective management of the sales life cycle through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. Additionally, responsible for driving profitable growth and increasing market share within the Industrial market sector.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop a designated customer base, including preparing plans, budgets, and promotional activities
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities for Grundfos products and services
  • Implement Value Added Services wherever possible
  • Achieve agreed marketing objectives, sales volumes, and contribution targets
  • Provide technical support to dealers, consultants, and end-users to ensure proper product specification
  • Provide necessary technical assistance within the local office
  • Assist in the development of segment-based budgets and plans
  • Participate in market research and report preparation as needed
  • Execute the company's sales strategy for the segment
  • Conduct product training for various customers
  • Comply with sales processes, including CRM management
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate and timely, including expenses
  • Promote Sales Excellence
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned

Your background:
Our ideal candidate would have:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in business and/or engineering, or a relevant mechanical/electrical trade background, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role at a large international company
  • Prior experience in an account manager position is desirable
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Expect frequent travel as part of the role
  • Solid understanding of Hydraulics and electrical systems
