About Service Innovation and Improvement


The focus of the Service Improvement and Innovation team is on improvement projects with an organisation-wide impact; service improvement and innovation support; coaching and capability building in improvement and project methodologies; and supporting the development of staff engagement in service improvement and innovation.


About the role


As the Improvement Advisor you will work closely with Program Managers, other Improvement Advisors and Austin Health staff to develop and deliver innovative improvements to ensure timely quality care for our patients, and a positive experience for our consumers and staff.


A regular day will see you:

  • **Act as an integral member of the team, working collaboratively with colleagues, consumers and other key stakeholders, implementing Austin Health's improvement methodologies**:

  • Support the presentation of data analysis, project reports and outcomes of improvement initiatives to relevant staff and committees:

Contribute to the scoping and preparation of submissions/ business cases for new areas of potential improvement work

About you
You will be someone with excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.

You'll have a proven track record in stakeholder engagement, building relationships and strategic partnerships, and communicating effectively at all levels.


You'll bring with you:

  • Experience implementing effective improvement and/or projects in a healthcare or related sector:

  • A proven track record in motivating teams to successfully deliver improvement outcomes and innovative service change:
