The Company
Your new employer is a successful Australian business that have been in operation for over 50 years.

They have been leading a niche market in providing the building & construction industry with a range of high-quality products and have continued to grow due to their strong market share & a loyal, stable and growing client base.

Due to this growth and an appetite to promote internally, they are currently in the market for a Customer Service/Internal Sales Officer for their Brisbane operation.

This is a permanent opportunity based conveniently between the Gold Coast and Brisbane with onsite parking and various perks and opportunities to progress your career.


The Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager your role will be fast paced and customer centric, responsibilities will include:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to phone and face to face customers
  • Data entry of Customer Orders, Invoices, Payments and Database Maintenance
  • Prepare and action credits and stock returns
  • Maintain showroom & stocking levels
  • Administration tasks such as Banking & Filing
  • Participate and attend sales meetings and training
  • Assist in stock takes
  • Complete any other ADHOC assignments as requested

Preferred Experience
years' experience in similar role or trade environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Commitment, energy, drive, initiative and passion with a pleasant and willing to help attitude
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently and meet set deadlines
  • Developed computer system and administrative skills
  • Ability to work autonomously or in a friendly team environment
  • Have own Car and Current Drivers Licence
  • WHS Awareness
