The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA), Regulatory Policy, Initiatives & Advice division seeks a
Policy Officer to provide policy development and analysis functions for its Major Projects and Initiatives team.
The Major Projects and Initiatives team works on strategically significant projects that have the potential to make long-lasting positive change.
What you will do
You will undertake policy development and analysis functions to provide advice and support to the EPA on environmental regulation policy.
You will contribute to the development of strategies, policies and programs to assist the EPA to achieve its priority outcomes and corporate goals.
Key knowledge and experience
- Understanding the workings of government and the complexities of public policymaking
- Working independently and as part of a team to research issues and develop timely responses
