About the Role As a Cost Specialist in our team, you'll play a key role in helping to draw on competencies from all COPEs to form a well-rounded finance professional who is involved in end to end cost work.

Working as part of a team of Cost Experts with responsibility for all cost related activities within Technology, including provision of accurate and timely financial information (Actuals, Performance Reporting, Outlook, Plan and provision of insightful cost related data and analytics).

You will primarily be Technology Division aligned; and may have generalist Finance skills with BU level responsibilities; or be a specialist for specific cost related processes where a high degree of process and accounting knowledge is required.

As a Technology aligned Cost Expert you will be co-located with Technology Business Partners and the Divisional Performance Management team forming close relationships with our peers to deliver a seamless service proposition for your stakeholders.

In some cases, you may be required to build and maintain relationships with Business stakeholders in collaboration with Divisional Insight Business Partners.

What will your day look like? As a Cost Specialist, your key accountabilities include: Driving continuous improvement of cost processes to extract efficiencies, ensuring the optimisation of controls, management of risks, points of friction and governance obligations are met on an continuous basis Drawing on Cost Co E process experts to build a first class capability in Finance, focusing on best practice cost management and consistency of implementation across all Divisions in collaboration with relevant GPOs.

What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Ensure management and statutory reporting obligations for cost are adequately met Manage the monthly financial close process for Group Technology costs, including finalisation of actuals, Pc P & driver based analytical review, Group/Division/BU consolidation activities, management reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations Contribute to and oversee the accurate recording of Divisional and BU investment/project financials and E2 E project lifecycle in line with accounting policy Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers and key stakeholders within FPM and GPO communities Be a positive influence and an integral part of the team including working with the Hub as "one team" Be an advocate for change, and promote 'one way of doing things' by adopting and contributing to the development of BI tools, while standardising processes to help build a better ANZ Finance function You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
