We're looking for a self-motivated Patent Filing Administrator with high attention to detail and excellent customer service to join our
Melbourne team on a
Full-time basis.

This position plays an essential role in the smooth and efficient running of
DCC's Administrative Operations Team.

Responsibilities

  • New filings
  • AU and New Zealand (PCT National Phase, Designs, Conventions) completion of case worksheet for billing and case data entry, preparation of associated letters and documents.
  • File creation for new cases.
  • Processing and reporting letters and charging to clients including filing receipts (data entry).
  • Maintain a high level of customer service to Principals, Associates and key stakeholders at all times.
  • Provide support to other AOT functions.
  • Prioritise such correspondence in order of importance and urgency ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Completion of data entry in the database ensuring a high level of accuracy.
  • Communicating with internal staff if clarification or further details are required.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Efficient task management and deadline adherence in fastpaced settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills for problemsolving.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficient in data quality control.
  • Highstandard customer service for internal and partner interactions.
  • Experience in an Legal environment (preferably IP), understanding the specific demands and regulatory requirements is an advantage
