You will be running a team that runs the daily operations, updates and patching.As a Senior Project Manager (Salesforce Practice) you will be a key member of the Technology Platforms & Development team, responsible for coordinating the overall program of operational support and project delivery for the Salesforce Platform.
Your role will involve working closely with program stakeholders and senior staff across Information Services and the University Business Portfolio to achieve measurable results.
You will oversee all Salesforce work streams, including projects, operational support, testing, environment management, and continuous delivery, ensuring alignment with the university's strategic direction and best practices.
What You Will Do Manage capital budgets and project resources to design, develop, and deliver Salesforce projects while optimizing operational support.
Lead complex planning, program management, and continuous improvement functions with clear accountability for performance.Integrate activities across build, run, and support functions within the CI/CD pipeline.
Plan and manage major work streams, ensuring alignment with business processes, change management, technology implementation, data migration, and system integration.
Chair Project Governance Groups, engage with multi-stakeholder relationships, and provide executive advice on project outcomes, risks, and issues.Develop and evolve the Salesforce Practice delivery capability, ensuring continuous improvement and best practice approaches.
Provide strategic advice on the Salesforce Platform, leveraging support from various stakeholders to optimize platform usage.
What You Will Have Done Extensive experience in Salesforce project implementation and delivery, with relevant Project Management experience and certifications (Agile PM, PMP, Salesforce certifications).
(2+ years non-negotiable)Proven ability to solve complex problems by integrating diverse information.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, capable of managing multiple work streams concurrently.
C-Suite and Executive Level stakeholder engagement in a similar environment.
High level of self-motivation and personal management skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a capacity to work collaboratively in small teams.
Experience in managing significant human and material resources, with a background in providing strategic advice affecting organizational direction.
Demonstrated leadership skills within complex organizational structures, including negotiation, motivation, influencing, and building cross-departmental relationships.
Experience in program directorship within the higher education sector desirable.
